Justin Farr-Jones has been a prominent figure in the the private equity community for over 14 years. Farr-Jones accumulated a great deal of experience in portfolio management after working with a variety of companies at a board level, and is now the Managing Director of Acura Capital.
Acura Capital focuses on private equity, credit and real estate investments. In Kenya their mission is to drive the positive growth from the urbanization of developing nations. Acura Capital is also involved in agriculture in Ukraine with a heavy focus on black earth, a very fertile soil that produces a high agricultural yield.
In his role at Acura Capital, he held the role of Non Executive Chairman of Beacon Hill in which he led the tunraround and restucturing efforts of the distressed Mozambique coal miner. He also previously worked on the turnaround and succesful recpaitalisation of Blue Financial Services, South Africa.
Previously the Executive Director of Renaissance Partners , Farr-Jones developed and maintained the firms $1 billion + portfolio in Emerging Markets as well as special situaitons for the Renaissance Africa Fund.
He’s was also previously a Founding Partner at Partner Clearbrook Capital Partners. Clearbrook Capital, a private equity firm based out of London, focuses specifically in specialty finance and property & asset management.
Farr-Jones has a BA (Hons) from Nottingham Business School.
